General Web Site Notes

The LEE PA Web site is designed for display settings of 1024 x 768 and greater. Less than 5% of our visitors have lower screen resolution settings. Our site will work on lower horizontal resolution settings, but the user will need to scroll side-to-side to see all of the content.

• We test Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems.
• We test Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) versions 6 and higher, Firefox versions 3 and higher, Safari, and Google Chrome browsers.

Note: Our Web site is not written with any particular browser in mind. While we cannot officially test all browser and operating system combinations, our site is designed in a manner that should allow any standards-compliant browser to be used.

Some user statistics:

• IE and Firefox represent 98% of our site traffic, with almost 68% of our traffic being IE version 7.
• Windows XP users account for almost 78% of our Windows traffic with Vista picking up another 18%.
• Windows users represent an overwhelming 97% of our users.

Aerial Viewer

The Aerial Viewer uses technology from ER Mapper/Leica Geosystems. As such, we can only support those operating systems and browsers that the vendor supports.

Currently, Windows XP with IE versions 6 and 7 will support all of the features of the Viewer. We expect full Windows Vista support to be available soon.

However, in order to give the largest number of users the opportunity to utilize the Viewer, we have added Java and HTML interfaces that will allow other users to experience the Aerial Viewer. Some features are disabled when using the JAVA and HTML versions.
